I found The Dish on Delish and it had this great giveaway and recipe for myJones/Jones Soda. Then with some or all of your soda you can make some Granita for you and your kids with the recipe from The Dish on Delish.

"I wanted to do something a little different with the Jones Soda. I’m sure you have heard of a Granita- if you haven’t, it is a frozen dessert originally from Italy. Depending on the region it can be chunky or sorbet-like and usually consisits of fruit juice, sugar and water. (I have heard some people adding other ingredients as well to change the consistency). Well, Jones Soda actually works perfect because it already has the sugar included, pure cane sugar to be exact. You can be creative and blend up strawberries, blueberries or any other fruit. Mint is a nice touch too.

You place your ingredients in a 9×13 pan (make sure they are mixed) and place in the freezer. You want to check on it every so often, probably every half hour or so and scrape it with a fork. This is the fun part. If you have kids, this is the perfect job for them. Keep scraping the ice mixture with a fork every half hour until it is set – and the consistency you prefer." - The Dish on Delish

Safe Sizer Plates Giveaway

I found out about a great plate for parents (especially for dads like me). It is a plate that has a small cutout on it to show the safe size for children under the age of 4. This is a pretty sweet thing cause I never even heard that children should have this small of bites! Welcome to the Deal Daddy

I have seen many blogs and sites out there, but I have yet to see one that helps out us dads! While I have read, commented, and used many other sites that are done by moms which are good and helpful, but I still always wanted that little bit more for Dads.

I will be putting up any and all deals that I run upon, but because I am a dad I hope that they will be a little more helpful for dads as I am a dad myself.
